He is Risen!

Thanking God and each of you for all that happened here at WACC during our RISEN series. 537 people attended our Easter Sunday services this weekend (up from our average weekly 345), and there were three people that morning who requested baptism, two who made first time decisions, and numerous others who asked for prayer and made re-commitments! I am praising God for each of you as you are the ministers of this place, telling, living out, volunteering, helping, bringing and inviting guests. Thank you for all you efforts – it is making a difference for the kingdom!

Resurrection Sunday our worship teams were outstanding, our guest services team was active and greeting, our facility was clean and bright, our children’s and youth ministries were humming, our creative arts, graphics and lighting were seamless, our technical team kept our voices and words clear, our announcements were on target, our message was Jesus, and our mission clear…exalt the One who came to give us freedom from sin and offers all a future and hope! I am so grateful to each of you for all you did over this season!

I am still receiving positive comments from our Good Friday service (200+) and the Gospel Exhibit (345). People were impacted by the meditative, reflective and transformative moments from the exhibit, Good Friday and words from the cross from our pastors.

Thank you for your commitment to Jesus – this is what we were made for – and thank you for your additional hours, dedication, and ministry. A special thank you to our pastoral, administrative and tech staff who went all out to make this Resurrection season a success for Christ. I count it a privilege to serve alongside each of you here. May His Name be exalted from this place, our lives, and the lives of His people for years to come because of what He has done!

He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed

Still singing praise with you and about you!

Pastor Mark Steven
