Summer in the Psalms – Worshipping Indoors
Every Sunday • 9 & 10:30 am
Come Join us for a Summer in the Psalms! If you missed it we’d love for you to join us in person. We also have a safer outdoor option showing a live feed of the service out to our church patio. Additionally, we will continue to have our online services for your safety, so you will be able to join in live on Sunday or watch another time throughout the week.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of live streaming we aren’t able to hold a 9:00 am contemporary service online. As we get settled with this new format we will work towards having contemporary options at 9:00am in the future.

Best Week Ever – Register By July 5
July 12 – 16 • 9am – 12pm
Kids 4 years old through 5th grade (’21-’22 school year) have the opportunity to come to the Best Week Ever! Our goal is to have children grow in their faith and it all can happen at the Best Week Ever. This will be a week full of games, songs and activities that your children will love. The theme is “Press Play” and it’s all about confidence. The kids will learn that they are known, they belong, they are forgiven, they can change and they can make a difference. Be A Difference Maker This Summer
This Summer brings many opportunities to be a Difference Maker. You can make a difference by volunteering at our events this summer or by helping providing some supplies that we will need. Click here to sign up.
Parenting Through The Phases Workshop
You have approximately 936 weeks from the time your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow quickly. It’s as if they shift or move on just as you’re starting to figure them out. It all makes the responsibility to shape a child’s faith and character feel overwhelming. This workshop will give you some tools and resources to maneuver through each phase. July 21st, July 28th & August 4th 9-11:30.
Colombia Church Plant
God is doing amazing things at the church we helped plant in Colombia. The building is currently under construction but that hasn’t stopped the believers there. The church is making a difference in the community and meeting under a tree to worship and have service. Please continue to pray for Colombia as their COVID numbers have increased recently.
Garden Mentorship Program
Starting August 2021
As part of our larger partnership with Raymond Elementary you have the opportunity to be a Difference Maker throughout next school year. We are looking for adults to be part of the Garden Mentorship program where you will meet weekly to garden with a Raymond Elementary student that has been recommended by the school to benefit from the program. This one on one opportunity provides an excellent opportunity to love the next generation. Email sylvia@wilshireave.com to let us know you’re interested.

WA Kids On Sundays
Every Sunday • 10:30 AM
Children ages 2 through Kindergarten will meet downstairs in the preschool playground area and 1st thru 5th grade will meet outside in our back lot. They will have their large group time for worship and a bible story followed by activities. Children will be screened for temperatures, remain socially distanced and will wear masks while at WA Kids. Check your kids in outside of the WA Kids gates on Wilshire Ave.
Sponsor A Child In The Dominican Republic
Children in the Dominican Republic are living on less than $2 a day. There are 31 more children at the new student center attached to the church plant that are waiting to be sponsored. Fresh Hope
Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8 pm, Online via Zoom
Fresh Hope is a new group that we are starting here at Wilshire for anyone who is currently experiencing or has had a mental health challenge as well as families members of those with a mental health challenge. Fresh Hope is a safe place for you to meet with a group of peers who share similar experiences with mental health. Fresh Hope is free to attend. Register by going to wilshireave.com/connect.
