Life Groups

The church is not a place, building, or program. It is people. God has called us to be connected to one another in community. No matter what size a church is, one of the most difficult parts of joining a new church is connecting with new people.  If you want to meet people and grow in your relationship with God, we believe being a part of life groups at Wilshire is the best path to take.

What are Life Groups?

Life groups are a key mission of Wilshire.  They are small communities of people (usually between 8 and 14) who meet during the week to dive deeper into the weekend’s message through the study of God’s word, applying the message to your life, and praying for one another.  Simply put, life groups are that place where we wrestle with the week’s message and discover how to apply it our daily lives.

Life groups meet throughout Fullerton at different homes on almost every night of the week.  Some are designed for life stages (like young couples, for instance) but most are mixed groups.

Joining One

Getting into a life group is easy!  We begin new groups each fall, but you can join a life group at any time.

Also, twice a year, Wilshire takes small groups of people through a 10 week course called Rooted.  After the course, many groups organically begin their own life groups.  (Check out What’s Next for more information.)

Please stop by the Life Group Booth in the Plaza after one of the Worship services or fill out the form below for more information.
