Here is the general schedule for the season:

  • First Practice and parent meetings will begin on April 04 – April 08
  • First Game will be Sat. Apr. 09
  • We will take a break for Love Fullerton on Sat. Apr. 23
  • Games will resume on Apr. 30
  • The season will end on May 21

Marriage Conference // APR 8-10 in Anaheim

Looking for a way to invest in your marriage? Women’s Retreat // APR 29 – MAY 01

We know as Christian women, your days are filled with busy schedules, commitments and responsibilities. Take a break from the busyness and come to Thousand Pines’ Women’s Retreat for a weekend to re-charge both spiritually and physically. Take this opportunity to hear some great teaching, spend time relaxing, listening for the Lord, and reflecting amidst the beauty of our mountains. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

At MOPS, we gather moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. That’s why we rally women, in their own neighborhoods, to help them become more brave, kind and honest, one gathering at a time. So, whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, you are welcome!

MOPS meets in person on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:15 – 11:15 AM.

DATES: 
March 30, April 6 & 20, May 4 & 18, June 01

COST:
Mom = $50
1st child = $45
Additional child(ren) = $40

LIGHTS children’s choir, for ages 4-11 // MAR 13

Sunday’s from 10:00 – 10:30 AM

WA Kids First Friday

Our 3rd – 5th graders are invited to “First Friday” every first Friday of every month from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. They will be able to hang out with their friends and grow in their faith. Dinner will be provided

GriefShare // Tuesdays

Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm 
This has been a tough season, we all have things to grieve. GriefShare, is a support group for people grieving any kind of loss. GriefShare, is a 12 week class that helps give you tools to process your grief. You can sign up at wilshireave.com/griefshare. Email griefshare@wilshireave.com for more information.

Cold Weather – Coat Drive

Thank you for all of the donations over the past several months of gently used coats and jackets for us to give out to those in need in our community.  We were able to bless so many this cold weather season through your generosity and help with this ministry.  We will not be collecting them again until November and December, so please hold on to them until then!

Be A Difference Maker

There are so many ways for you to make a difference both here at Wilshire and in our community. On Sunday mornings you can help us with set up, tear down and part of our connection team. Or during the week you can help us prepare for Sunday mornings in many different ways. We also have opportunities to serve in the community. If you’re interested we would love to have you join the team and see what God can do through you. Colombia Church Plant

God is doing amazing things at the church we helped plant in Colombia. The building is currently under construction but that hasn’t stopped the believers there. The church is making a difference in the community and meeting under a tree to worship and have service. Please continue to pray for Colombia as their COVID numbers have increased recently.
