Christmas Services

We are excited for the Christmas Season approaching.
We all have friends, family, coworkers that we would love to come to know the hope, love and joy we have in Jesus. Our Christmas services are a great opportunity for you to bring the people you care about to hear this incredible hope we have in Jesus.

We are excited to worship God together as a church family on:
DEC 23 at 5:30 PM, DEC 24 at 3:00 & 4:30 PM.

WA Kids will be provided at all 3 services.

WA Kids – Jingle Jam 12/12 at 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Holiday Donation List

If you are looking for items to donate to our Food Bank we are in need of the following items to give to our clients during October, November, and December to have for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will have bags on Sunday after service that you can pick up and fill up. Thank You!

Operation Christmas Child

Now is a good time to start thinking about what you will pack in your Operation Christmas Child shoebox this year. OCC anticipates that this year box donations will dramatically decrease due to the pandemic. This year is an important year to continue with this good work. You can pick up a  box and a shopping list in the church office Monday – Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. You can find more information or build a box online using the links below.

Cold Weather – Coat Drive

Over the next couple months as it is getting colder, we will be collecting gently used coats and jackets to give out to those in need at our Food Bank and in the community.  If you would like to donate any used coats or jackets they can be dropped off in the bin next to the church office Monday-Friday between 9 am – 4 pm or on Sunday morning at one of the services.

Raymond Elementary Garden Mentorship Program

As part of our partnership with Raymond Elementary you have the opportunity to be a Difference Maker throughout next school year. We are looking for adults to be part of the Garden Mentorship program where you will meet weekly with a Raymond Elementary student to garden together and mentor them. Email sylvia@wilshireave.com to let us know you’re interested. Serve Day will be on October 02 from 8am-12pm.

Byerrum Park Clean up –  December 12

 Let’s work together to love our city!

As a church we are partnering with the City of Fullerton and the Parks and Recreation department to help take care of Byerrum Park on the corner of Chapman and Raymond. Our church will be going twice a month to help clean and take care of the park. This is a great way to serve as a family or a life group or even with a few friends.  Please email bryan@wilshireave.com to sign up or if you have any questions.

Be A Difference Maker

There are so many ways for you to make a difference both here at Wilshire and in our community. On Sunday mornings you can help us with set up, tear down and part of our connection team. Or during the week you can help us prepare for Sunday mornings in many different ways. We also have opportunities to serve in the community. If you’re interested we would love to have you join the team and see what God can do through you. GriefShare

Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm 
This has been a tough season, we all have things to grieve. GriefShare, is a support group for people grieving any kind of loss. Fresh Hope

Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8 pm, Online via Zoom

Fresh Hope is a new group that we are starting here at Wilshire for anyone who is currently experiencing or has had a mental health challenge as well as families members of those with a mental health challenge. Fresh Hope is a safe place for you to meet with a group of peers who share similar experiences with mental health. Fresh Hope is free to attend. Register by going to wilshireave.com/connect.

Colombia Church Plant

God is doing amazing things at the church we helped plant in Colombia. The building is currently under construction but that hasn’t stopped the believers there. The church is making a difference in the community and meeting under a tree to worship and have service. Please continue to pray for Colombia as their COVID numbers have increased recently.
